How and why is it important to work on social sustainability in the municipality?

Our Author Kristin Reichborn-Kjenner is a researcher at OsloMet and recently published the book Social Sustainability in Municipalities: Planning, Citizen Engagement, and Local Innovation. The book draws on examples from, among other sources, the “Buy Sustainably” project, where she served as project manager. Examples from other research projects are also included.

Childhood Lasts for Generations

The extensive knowledge we have about childhood, parenting, and intergenerational transmission can change children’s lives forever—if only it were put to use. Few have explained this better than the groundbreaking pioneer Kari Killén. Drawing on Killén’s work, author and former politician Inga Marte Thorkildsen takes a closer look at what we know and what we can do.

A number of researchers, professionals, and survivors have contributed to the podcast in the hope of bringing about improvement.
